Access Statement For Ashdene House Bed & Breakfast
Introduction
Ashdene House is a 5 bedroom B&B all of which are on the first floor.
The following statement is a summary of our provision. Please call us
if you have any questions not addressed below.
Pre-Arrival

Bus stops are within 200mtrs (level walk) for both Kings-Lynn and Hunstanton,
both towns are approx 7 miles away. Buses also serve Sandringham Royal
Estate 1.5 miles.

We have ample private parking on gravel with level, paved access to
front door.

We can assist guests with luggage.

The Front door is always locked, guests have own key .
•
Hallway has woodblock floor with mat over.
•
The door is 75cms wide, the hallway is min. 94cms wide X 4.3mtrs to
stairs & reception.
Public Areas - General (Internal)
•
The Breakfast room and guest Lounge are on the ground floor, both have
short pile carpet.
•
There are 14 stairs to the landing and a 90deg. turn to the left on
the last 5.
•
A handrail runs up the stairs on the left.
•
The stairs are 20cms high, 26cms deep, 90cms wide.
Public Areas - WC
•
All bedrooms are en suite with a public WC next to reception on ground
floor.
•
Width at handbasin 57cms, WC height 44cms.
Restaurant / Dining Room, Bar & Lounges, Take Away & Cafe

Breakfast is served in breakfast room on ground floor (no steps)

Furniture is flexible and can be moved on request.

Tables have underspace of 63 cms high by 90cms wide and a table height
of 76cms. All chairs are without arms.

evening meals.

There is a public park across road and extensive wooded walks through
the near bye Sandringham estate.

thermos flask, walking/shooting stick.

Owners fridge available for storing guest’s medication/wine.
